Experience a sightseeing flight in a seaplane in Germany – take off directly from the water, enjoy coasts and lakes from the air or take the controls yourself.
A seaplane flight combines perspectives that you rarely experience in this way.
Baltic Seaplane is a certified aviation company and a specialized flight school for seaplanes in Germany.
In addition to professional EASA-compliant seaplane training, we also offer sightseeing flights by seaplane and trial flights where guests can fly themselves – even without a license.
Our sightseeing flights, trial flights and training courses take off from various locations along the Baltic Sea coast and the Mecklenburg Lake District.
You take a seat in the pilot’s seat and take the controls together with an experienced flight instructor – from preparing for the flight and taking off on the water to flying along the coast or over the lake landscape.
The trial flight is aimed at beginners with no previous experience as well as pilots who want to improve their skills or are looking for a seaplane license.
Our sightseeing flight events combine water flying with selected regions and special local events.
The dates often offer additional perspectives and attractive event prices.
Regular sightseeing flights are possible all year round at locations such as Flensburg, Plau am See and Heringsdorf.

Our focus is on EASA-compliant seaplane training as well as training and renewal of the SEP (Sea) class rating.
In addition, we offer advanced training in SET (Sea) on the Cessna Caravan 208 Amphibian and demanding open water operations.
The renewal of your SEP (land) class rating and proficiency checks can also be carried out with our amphibious aircraft or our land aircraft.
Our work with international pilots has given us extensive experience in registering EASA ratings across national borders.
The training takes place mainly on our Cessna 172 Amphibian and is supplemented by advanced training content on the Lake LA-4 Buccaneer flying boat. Our training areas range from sheltered waters to challenging coastal and open-water conditions on the Baltic Sea.
